Welcome to Fat Rooster Farm!

Nestled in the Upper Valley along Vermont's scenic White River, Fat Rooster Farm is a diversified farm that incorporates ecologically sustainable methods of production. I, with the help of friends, family and apprentices, grow heirloom varieties of vegetables and heritage breeds of livestock. Crops on the farm include asparagus, rhubarb, horseradish, garlic, tomatoes, potatoes, sweet corn, beans, cukes, squash, specialty greens, onions and flowers. I raise grass-fed lamb, pork, chicken, turkey, guinea hen, duck, as well as eggs, honey, nut and fruit trees. The woodlands are used to forage for wild edibles, provide wood for home use, diversify the wildlife on the farm and provide stream stabilization for the meandering White. — Jennifer Megyesi
